My season begins.
I have joined the SFA for my single season in Cantona as it is my favourite FA from gw6 I’ve been placed in championship A and according to the list of teams sorted by rank I’m the 3rd strongest team in the league. I think that’s misleading as after 2 games I'm rock bottom losing both games to Roma Capoccia who has now played 9 won 7 drawn 1 lost 1 so he does look like the team to beat for now.
On reflection I do believe I need a new GK so after searching through the auctions came across a bargain 36yr old German Frank Rost which for a Gk isn’t beyond a season or two. Also on team news I’ve had my top striker Ronaldo set his retirement on the 31st Dec a day after the season ends he is 33yrs which is a very young age to do this his reason was he wants to retire while at the top before he gets a serious injury lucky for me I am only temp in this GW otherwise I’d be gutted.
After some tinkering with the formation and moving the Dmc to MC I managed to get a victory vs. Ecko Utd it was a great first half for me both Ronaldo and Di Natale getting a goal but I did manage to concede late on which made the final whistle not come soon enough. The win puts me in 7th place.
