Today is the big day after all the blood, sweat and tears that has been put into FML its finally time to get the first Gameworld underway.
With the first gameworld just hours away from launch I'm sure everyone at SI and Sega are anxious to get things underway.
Congrats to all the people who have contributed in making and testing potentially the greatest football game of all time.
I am particularly impressed with the way SI have listened to the testers and made changes where required even with things really late in the day.
The latest being controlling the inflation within the gameworld, one of the latest ways to do that has been to control the amount of money a team can win from any one competition. The latest rule on this will be monitored by the Gameworld Moderators as this has yet to be coded into the game.
Limiting the maximum prize money that can be awarded to one club in a friendly competition to :
50k (competitions up to 16 teams)
100k (competitions up to 32 teams)
250k (competitions above 32 teams).
I welcome these changes as I have been a firm believer that the gameworld must control inflation if it is to succeed.
Personally FML has been a breath of fresh air for me and has come along at just the right time, I honestly think that SI have a game which could appeal to the masses very easily.
There always seems plenty to do in FML and even it does tend to get a bit quiet the Chat Rooms always seem to be ready to discuss the latest goings on in the gameworld, or real life news.
